Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves measure rope tension and check for broken strands; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
