Pipe tig welder • Dickson County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Dickson County, Tennessee. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Overtime paid at a premium rate.
