Site safety steward wanted in Muscogee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Muscogee County, Georgia. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Day to day you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
