Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience.
