Tile setter • Alleghany County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in Alleghany County, Virginia. You will be based on a residential construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone You will run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges.
