Bar bender and fixer — Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Union County, New Mexico. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
