Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Bartow County, Georgia. You will be based on a residential tower site. On a typical shift you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
