We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust. Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Good eye for colour matching and blending Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
