We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Cook County, Georgia. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together.
