Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Gwer West, Benue State. The job is at a precast concrete yard. You will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
