Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Pike County, Alabama. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules You will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
