Immediate opening: concrete placer (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete placer in Rhea County, Tennessee. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
