Urgent requirement: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Jefferson County, Kansas. The job is in a smash repair workshop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop You will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line.
