Fast-fit technician — Borough of Wigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fast-fit technician in Borough of Wigan, England. The job is at a car service centre. On the job you will handle: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
