Now hiring: we are hiring a goods-in/goods-out operative in Jefferson County, Alabama. The role involves load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck; check incoming deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders; put away stock into racking locations following FIFO; carry out cycle counts and full stock takes; report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor; wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels. Requirements: • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift • Confident using handheld scanners and a WMS 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
