Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Lowndes County, Georgia. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
