Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Harnett County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Your main tasks: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
