Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Hancock County, Kentucky. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials.
