We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Jefferson County, Alabama. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper 4+ years on the tools preferred.
