Great opportunity: we are hiring a mason's helper in Huerfano County, Colorado. Day-to-day duties: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
