Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in City of Covington, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
