Join our team: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Waldo County, Maine. You will work on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Six days a week, one day off.
