Great opportunity: concrete worker (Federal Capital Territory)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Abaji, Federal Capital Territory. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
