Safety officer • Madison County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Madison County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy construction site. Day to day you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
