Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Webster County, Iowa. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
