Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Dimmit County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust.
