Occupational health and safety officer • Routt County, Colorado

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Routt County, Colorado. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
