Great opportunity: rebar installer (New Jersey)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar installer in Bergen County, New Jersey. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Full-time with occasional weekends.
