Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; score the top of loaves before baking; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
