Vehicle electrician — Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vehicle electrician in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a car electrical accessories shop. Your main tasks: • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Replace ABS, oxygen and crankshaft sensors • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking • Service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors Requirements: • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods 6+ years on the tools preferred.
