Mosaic tiler — City of Salem

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in City of Salem, Virginia. The job is on a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system What we are looking for: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Overtime paid at a premium rate.
