Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Marquette County, Michigan. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
