Brickwork mason • Somerset County, Maine

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Somerset County, Maine. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
