We are recruiting: semi-automatic welder (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Cherokee County, South Carolina. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 1+ years on the tools preferred.
