Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial painter in Bland County, Virginia. The role involves carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
