Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Grand County, Colorado. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
