Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in McDonough County, Illinois. The job is on a high-rise facade project. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Day to day you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; replace cracked or broken window panes; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
