Immediate opening: we are hiring a deboner in Kingman County, Kansas. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
