Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Oxford County, Maine. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness.
