Urgent requirement: site dozer operator (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Essex County, New York. You will be based on a quarry floor. On the job you will handle: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
