Safety marshal • Fort Bend County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in Fort Bend County, Texas. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
