Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Dawson County, Nebraska. You will work at an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Ideal candidate: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
