MIG/MAG welder wanted in Androscoggin County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Androscoggin County, Maine. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Rotating shifts.
