Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Centre County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb.
