Great opportunity: we are hiring a car painter in Herkimer County, New York. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending Day-to-day duties: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
