Rebar foreman — Sumaila

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Sumaila, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
