Join our team: structural MIG welder (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
