Metal caster — Fermanagh and Omagh

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Full-time, day shift. We offer £2,250 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
