Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Crawford County, Georgia. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Rotating shifts.
