HSE officer wanted in Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Jackson County, Illinois. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time with occasional weekends.
